Today I will leave for a "doctors appointment" and secretly go on an interview with another company. a BETTER company. I feel like a secret agent, slapping my hands together in anticipation of the possibility of screwing my company over. They really should have given me a raise for my year of service as a lowly inhouse designer. If no raise is offered after a year, what does the job offer? There is no opportunity for advancement, only raises. So I will leave them. Leave them right in the middle of the huge global standards redesign project they should have really hired a company for, not just left in the hands of a single designer 2 years out of school.
